Wedding days are magical memories you will have forever. Between the dress, the bridesmaids and groomsmen, the decor, flowers, and of course, the bride and groom, wedding days are full of celebrations and excitement. And what better way to end the celebration than to ride away in a great classic car?! Some people prefer horse-drawn carriages, but if you love cars like me, then you will want a vintage-looker to take you away in. So, with that, I give you my list of 8 great classic cars that would make any wedding day enchanting!
8 Classic Cars For Your Wedding Day (Plus Color Schemes To Match!)
1. 1940 Lincoln Continental Zephyr
The Lincoln Continental Zephyr is one beautiful classic car with plenty of room! Plus the convertible top will make for adorable pictures. The color scheme we picked for this beauty is Navy, Eggplant Purple, and Gold. This classic car would make for a very elegant wedding, especially with that pop of purple!
2. 1958 Cadillac El Dorado
My favorite of the bunch. This black and white Cadillac El Dorado screams wedding day! With the gorgeous (and unique) steel top, pristine black and white leather interior, and huge double doors, any wedding dress will fit into this hunk. The color scheme we chose for this Cadillac El Dorado is Black, Ivory, and Dark Red. Keeping it traditional, just like the car 🙂
3. 1962 Ferrari 250 GT PF Cabriolet
Definitely a more expensive option, but everyone will remember you in this 1962 Ferrari 250 GT PF Cabriolet. A little on the smaller side, but who cares it’s a Ferrari! The color scheme we chose for this chic speedster is Gold, Sage, and Ivory. Colors that mean money and charm!
4. 1957 Ford Retractable
Now, we get a little more fun. Bye-bye, elegance and hello retro! This Ford Retractable is the coolest car ever! Of course, you would have to show off that convertible top, but these bright colors call for a bright fun wedding!! The color scheme we chose for the Ford Retractable is Magenta, Poppy Red, and Yellow. Three bright, fun colors to tie in with that retro style car.
5. 1952 Muntz Jet
O.K. so I said the El Dorado was my favorite, but this Muntz Jet comes in a very close second. A rare car to begin with, this Muntz Jet will have eyes a lookin’. Plus the light yellow exterior and interior color will make any photo pop! The color scheme we chose for the Muntz Jet is Cinnamon, Light Yellow, and Wheat.
6. 1942 Chevy Fleetmaster
If you are looking for a Gatsby-style wedding, this car is the one for you. The car shown has a navy blue exterior and a convertible top. Super comfy yet still rather large so you can fit a ball gown. Even though Gatsby-style might be a little sleeker and slender. Whatever you choose, this Chevy Fleetmaster will do nothing but impress! The color scheme we chose for the Fleetmaster is Navy, Yellow, and Light Blue to match perfectly!
7. 1950 Baby Blue Bel Air
Ah, a good old classic Bel Air. It has to be in that baby blue color, though! This retro yet classic car would make any wedding fun! You could even take a nap in this cruiser because she is oh-so comfortable! The color scheme we chose for this Baby Blue Bel Air is Chartreuse (bright green), Powder Blue, and Cornflower Blue. Pretty unique colors to match a unique classic car.
8. Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud
Last but not least, and probably the most classic wedding car out there, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud. Comfort, style, sass, and class all create this beauty. Coming in “silver cloud” white, the color scheme we chose for this all time favorite is Ivory, Gold, and Green. You don’t want to get too funky in a vintage cruiser like the Rolls-Royce. So stick to the simple yet classy colors.
So there you have it, ladies! Your ultimate stop for finding a classic car for your wedding day. Now, the only hard part is finding people to rent you these cars for the big day…. because some of these fellas are quite rare and expensive! But hey!
